On the BI, the model year/serial numbers are:

A total of 180 were built, although 183 were actually built; two were rebuilt into 'BR' tractors and one was shipped to Yakima, WA to be built into a crawler. This unique crawler was #330986, and it has BEEN FOUND already. It's no use looking!

The small engine (149 Cu. in.) were from 325000-328999. First one was 325617, built 2/4/36, shipped 2/18/36 to Pittsburgh, PA, noted as being returned and shipped interfactory on 1/2/38. Notes indicate "experimental". Last one was 328899, built 6/14/38, shipped 4/8/39 to Worth, IL.

The big engine (175 cu. in.) models were 329000 and up. First one was 329083, built 6/16/38, shipped 10/26/38 to Minneapolis Sales Branch. Last one was 332157, built 2/25/41, shipped 3/6/41 to Dallas, TX.

The above is an email I recieved on the subject of serial numbers.
