Well I am getting ready to start a winter project. It will be a 440 tractor. It has a #71 front end loader and had a back hoe on it. I wish I could find the hoe. I am also looking for one of the wheel weights for it. I hope to have pics and such for you all to look at. This will be the first one on my own that I have done. This is also the first one I have done while in the Marines. The engine and clutchs have all been done so I have been told. I guess the first thing to do is to put it back in one piece and see if I can get it to run and what parts I will need to make it look right. I will keep you all posted.

Well I did not log in last time. And here is where I am at now. I got the tractor now. Man what a mess. The previous owner tore it down and had the engine tranny and rearend done;(better him than me) but failed to put the bolts back in the hole to know where they were. So I am having to get alot of bolts for her. The tires on the rear are not matching... Reason the rearend went out. (18.4 and 13.6 I think) Dad has a set of 18.4 for it but I think I am wanting 13s or 14s. Went to JD tonight. I went to the wrong one. You can't go to the Ag dealer and order any parts for (I) modle tractors. Don't ask me why. They are just down the road. Ordered a couple of gaskets and a parts book. I will list what parts I am needing. If any one knows where I can find some please let me know.
