I want to mount a #5 mower directly on my 50 drawbar frame. Is there anything I need to know, that isn't listed in the operators manual?

There are several ways in which a #5 mower can be attached to a JD 50. However, it depneds on how your #5 is set up. The most popular for a 50 was the quick-Tach frame on the #5 whitch attached to two stub brackets mounted on the 50 drawbar frame. The #5 Mower Operators manuals shows all the vatrious hook-ups, depending on the year of the publication date of the manual.
If you don't have the corect #5 manual I can post some pictures of the various hook-ups on my picture site.

I have the brackets that bolt to the draw bar mount, just cannot seem to come up with quik tatch parts. So, the alternative was to bolt to the draw bar mount,if I can that is.
