This is my little boy who is already the proud owner of a 1951 JD "B". He likes to help me out on the tractor. His tractor is the first we restored and he has already won a couple of trophies with it in parades and shows. Will post pict's of it later.

Just some pictures of my work so far. Pulled it apart to put in new clutch only to find out the clutch disk was in backwards. Also replaced lots of bearings and seals too. Got the halves back together the other day but have no more pict's yet. Will be posting more pictures as I get farther along. biggrin.gif

Thought it was about time that I update my photos on my project. I have been doing alot of work on this little girl. I have rebuilt the TOM and the water pump. I took the front end off so I could replace the pivot bushing and get to the hard to reach places for cleanup. I have done alot of wirebrushing and sandblasting. I am getting real close to the big paint job. Hope to be painting within the next few weeks. I hope to have it completely done for the Christmas parades in my area this year. Guess I had better get busier if I am going to make them. Hope you enjoy the photos. Thanks for the comments guys too!!!

How bad did your seals leak on the 3 point arms? And were you successful at getting them to stop leaking.

not real bad but bad enough that I had to fix them. I used a rubber o-ring instead of the cork seals when I put it back together. It took me about three trips to my local industrial supply store to get the one to fit just right. I am going to try and get this thing running this week so I can try the things that I fixed before I paint it. Don't want to have to go back and fix things after I get it painted. So I will have to answer your question about being successful after I get it back running. I will let you know.
