In order to post a picture, it must first be uploaded to an internet site of some sort. Then, all that is needed is to click the IMG button in the reply screen, and fill in the address to the picture after the http:// in the popup dialog box, such as:

www.yourpicturesite.com/photo.jpg

The picture should be in .jpg or .gif or .png format.

Try limiting the picture to 400, or no more than 500, pixels in width, and it will fit in most browser windows without the need to scroll left and right. To shrink a .jpg file, try this handy free utility. It's really easy and quick to use. Use this link to download it:

As for the best sites to use to host the pictures, maybe other members will add their comments about good ones. The site must allow hotlinking, and not all picture hosts will do this. Anybody have recommendations?

Figured out the www.villagephotos.com does not allow direct/hotlinking without paying for the service. Are headed to a different site to try it out.

www.boomspeed.com had a free trial period and then you have to pay for the service also.

Here is an 800x picture. Does this seem too big? This is the size that works with a 1024x768 monitor.
