Hi Gang,
Today is the 64th anniversary of the end of World War II. I was in D.C. about a month ago and visited the memorial and just happened to snap this. I had two uncles and numerous people that I grew up around that fought in this war.

You can see pictures of the surrender ceremony on the net. It took place on the USS Missouri in Tokyo bay. What a day that must have been. Thank you to all our brave WWII vets.

A person needs to check out Tom Brokaws book "The Greatest Generation"
