Still looking for a reasonably priced (translation ... cheap) nice condition R dash and cowl for my tree-struck R. I'm not in a hurry since winter is on it's way and I'm not going to do anything with this until spring. Found a couple of folks with these but I'm having a hard time with the idea of paying as much as they're after. Main reason is... I had a couple of dash panels that I had listed on eBay a couple years ago and listed them both twice and couldn't get ten bucks for either of them. After having listed the stuff a couple times most of no-sale stuff I scrapped along with the main case and rear etc. Now that I need a dash and cowl they've become very valuable. Sold the parts R cowl and don't recall what I got but I'm sure it didn't go triple digits. Heck I only paid like 450-500 for the entire tractor... less some key parts... with duplicates of some parts. Makes it hard to pay someone between 300 and one place wanted 600 for these two pieces!!!
So if anybody has a nice straight cowl and dash out there that they'll part with for 0-100... maybe even 150... plus shipping let me know. I think this is more than fair money for parts that wouldn't typically have many after them... unless of course a tree falls on someone's R.
Thinking I might go ahead and burn a couple days beating mine out and a couple days laying several coats of heavy primer rather than paying big bucks for these if I can't scrounge something up before spring.
If you've read this then I appreciate your consideration into providing these parts...
