I may be wanting to sell a John Deere 430 Tricycle and Standard tractor if there is any interested parties out there. . .

The tricycle runs, drives, lift works good. Has a few leaks and drips. Four Speed, no Power Steering, Pressed steel 34 inch rears (not rusted). Regular seat, good tires, three point (no toplink). Fair to good sheetmetal, kind of a no frills tractor. The engine has had an older repair to the block, but the tractor runs with no abnormal noises or problems. Would like to get $2500 for it as surely its worth that for the parts. Its a handy little machine for moving things around the farm. I bought it for the parts but have not been able to bring myself to tear it apart.

The standard runs and drives good. Five speed, Dual TOM, Spin Out Rears, lights, three point. Rear rims have some rust out around the valve. Good Sheetmetal. Missing drawbar frame and toplink, but most everything else is there. Early 1958 (1959 to be truly "correct"). I have enough cultivator parts left over from my other projects to put together a front set for the tractor if they were wanted. Tractor is weathered but has potential. Asking $4500.

I also still have a few carcasses out in the yard that my wife would love for me to get rid of. . . I have a standard transmission/final drives, nearly complete tricycle machine that has live pto (motor stuck, terrible sheetmetal), and the remnants of a row crop utility that I used as a donor for my yellow 430 W. Still have a pile of parts in the old barn too that I need to move to my new property. . . Not a lot of the high dollar or hard to find items but you never know.

Feel free to give me a call (330)635-0660 with any questions. Thanks, Dave

Hey Dave

Did you mean 34" rims on the one?
You could have fat finger the wrong key on that one ohmy.gif

Thanks Papa,
Did my quick edit and its all good. No "Super Rare" Deere 43 inch rims on an experimental tricycle high crop. . . but it woulda been nice.
