Hi folks, I am Steve from Madison, VA (just north of Charlottesville, VA). I like machines so I own and fly two antique airplanes (1935 Fairchild 22 and 1946 Globe Swift), have two old engines (one I restored last winter - McCormick Deering M 1.5 HP) and just acquired a running, cosmetically restored 1936 John Deere Unstyled A. My Dad had the same tractor so it brought back great memories.

Lots of good stuff on these forums. Regards, Steve

Welcome to the board. How often do you fly your planes?

I fly my Swift year round when weather permits. The open-cockpit Fairchild 22 is a fair weather airplane so I am waiting for spring weather to arrive. In late June I will be using the Fairchild to participate in a fly-in at the T-Party 2008 (Model T cars) in Hagerstown, IN (http://www.tparty2008.com/). Then, on/about 22 July I will be part of the American Barnstormers Tour (http://www.americanbarnstormerstour.com/).

Thanks for asking, Steve
