I am a rookie tractor restorer, but pretty good mechanic. I am restoring a 1942 "A" and can not locate the torque specifications for the crankshaft bearing cap bolts. I really enjoy talking about JD tractors and look forward to hearing all the advice given. Any tips on the install and setting the crankshaft clearances is greatly appreciated. Welcome aboard. You need to ask your question's on the tractor shed (gereral discussion). A lot more guy's look there. I'm sure you'll get an answer there.
