i have a lx 178 and picked up a new snow blower for the tractor I do not have a manual and was wandering if any one has a description or info to how it attaches to the tractor . I know manual is available from JD was hoping to save 25 dollars jd wants.

I would reccomend that you get the manual. There are a few things you will need to add to the tractor. It is better to have something to help you see what to do. Where I worked, for a Deere dealer, if we sold a blower, a manual went with it. I am surprised you did not get one too.
