Getting ready to replace the main drive belt on a JD LX 176. Any suggestions? Will I need any special tools?

Hi temps!
I have yet to do an LX 176, but think it will be similar to the LX188, 320, 325, and GT275 that I have done. Nothing special for tools, just normal metric sockets/wrenches. Here's a couple tips. When you visit the JD dealer to get the new belt, ask if they will print off a picture of the belt routing if you don't have the repair manual that shows it. Also, if it has the typical flat idler and "V" idler mounted on a swivel (about midway from engine to tranny) check for play in the mounting after removing the spring. There are two plastic bushings there that wear out and are inexpensive and easy to replace during this procedure.
I don't think you will have to remove the electric clutch on that model to get the belt off, but will have to unplug the wire. It may have another "V" idler right near the clutch that has to be loosened or removed to allow belt removal clearance. Probably don't have to remove the fender deck, but it's easy to take off. Take off seat, two capscrews, then two nuts at the front of foot rests. Good time to clean all the debri from the fan and tranny.
Good luck!
