Had a brief encounter with a brick and had to drop the mower deck. Decided to replace the deck belt since they are the only problems I've had with the machine in seven years. Got out the new one fresh from my JD dealer and guess what? Made In CHINA. The ones made in the USA broke far too often. Can't wait to see how this visitor from the Far East lasts. I wonder what it says on new tractor data plates?

7/09. Just an update. The Chinese belt has been on nearly two seasons and still spinning fine. Amazing.
