Neighbor came to me with his tractor cause he knows I like the Dubuques. . . He has a 40 Standard hed like to sell. Tractor looks to be in original condition. . . runs and drives. Has three point, rear wheel weights, front cultivators. I think there is also a two bottom plow that goes with it. Tractor will need front tires, rears will be useable but the rims must have been bad cause someone had taken the wavy portion out and attached them to newer unconventional rims. Will need a new grill screen (has the single, large screen). Otherwise seems like a nice little tractor. Good S/N tag and decent tinwork. I have too many other irons in the fire otherwise I might have more interest in it myself. He is asking $3300 with the implements. Took a good look and drive of the neighbors 40. Tractor starts and runs good. Drives well, no Trans Noise. PTO works. Touch o Matic works great (Im impressed by this after all the trouble I went thru with mine on the 430) No steering wobble in high gear. Has a Hobbs Hour meter. Im gonna get a pic or two to post soon. Ive talked to him about prices these things have been going for and he has agreed $2500 might be a more appropriate asking price for the tractor.
