The day I got it home

I have the 60 backed into the garage. There is an angle iron piece bolted to the front of the tractor that made it possible to use an old top link as a push bar pinned to it and to the bucket of the 420. The engine is free, but looking through the spark plug hole I can see that one intake valve sticks open. I removed the right rear tire because the fluid is leaking. With the tire removed it will be easier to work from this side on the clutch and valves.

I have the tire off the rim and currently getting it painted. With the use of an electrolysis tank cleaning the rim was easy.

I took the rim out of the bath and scrubbed it with a wire brush in the ugly areas to clean some of the weaker stuff off. After throughly washing the rim I then sprayed a Phosphoric Acid coating mixed half & half with water.

Today I was able to put a primer coat on the rim.
