Nice JD 70 Standard. Diesel Engine w/ pony. Both engines will start and run well, no smoke. Have used for bailing hay past few years. PTO, Rockshaft (w/o 3pt.), Good tires. Nice metal with good paint, could easily be a parade tractor. Pictures published in John Dietz's book on investment potential of John Deere Tractors. Not perfect, has a few seeps here and there (mostly if you forget to turn off the diesel at the sediment bowl--tends to leak as she sits) but really a good strong working or show tractor. She was my first tractor and I hate to see her go but Ive started restoring the Dubuque Tractors and want to follow that path for awhile.
I can send pictures if anyone is interested, Ill even throw in a set of rear wheel weights (will need cleaned/painted). Id also be interested in doing a partial trade on a 420/430/320/330 tractor that needs some work. Asking $6500. Thanks, Dave
