I have a 30" tiller that mounts to to most JD garden tractors. I bought it for use with my GX 325. Your local JD dealer can tell you if it will fit your machine. It comes with all mounting hardware (if you need it), manual & spare tine (knife). It works fine. I want to use a sleeve hitch disk harrow instead. I have pics and can email them.
It is located near Flint MI.
Asking $650 obo
Pick up only - I can help load

Correction:
The tiller only mounts to the GX series tractors. I apologize for the error.

Please ignore my previous correction. Upon consulting with the owners manual, the tiller will fit many models of JD garden tractor. Just ask and I will look it up.

Hi John,
Does this Tiller run hydraulically? I think my tractor is a X500 or XR500? something like that. Gas Kawasaki engine about 25 hp +/- and four wheel drive. It has the quick-tach set-up on it and quick disconnect hydraulics front and back and a shaft driven mower deck. (I'll check model etc. to be certain tonight but I'm sure it has the number 500 in the model... bought it late summer of 2004 I believe.)
If this is a fit I'm interested... if it's in good shape. I'll verify what I have tonight and check back.
Let me know if you know anything far as how it's powered and fit.
Thanks,
Bob

Bob,
This tiller is belt driven from the electric PTO on the engine. It is hydraulic lift.
I looked in the owners manual and there is no listing for the X-series machines. The biggest it will fit appears to be a 355.
How do you like your X500? I would like to upgrade to 4WD machine. The last time I got the 325 stuck, I had to use my '52 B to get it out.

Hi John,
Bummer on the fitment...
Sure you'd do well at auction if you wait ... till... spring.
The combination of the 4x4 and the speed of light blades of this machine, has lopped off about an hour of my mowing time. My yard is hilly here in Western PA and I used to have to sit out on the fenders and ease into the uphill turns. With the low center of gravity and the four wheel drive, this thing never skips a beat and I don't have near the concerns of rolling it as the old cadets.
Have a good one,
Bob
