I just found this message board today.
My name is Sam Bezner.I live in Amarillo,Texas and have a farm out near Bushland,Texas.I farm with a John Deere 8640 and 6030.I raise wheat and some hay.I drive a truck full time and do my farming on the side. There are a few here who know me.
My name is William McQueen and I live in coastal South Carolina. I have a 50 acre farm of cattle, hay, and grain which operates exclusively with John Deere tractors. I have restored a 1952-1954 model JD 60 and have it currently waiting at a paint shop. My grandfather also had a farm loader for this tractor as well - although a few levers and linkages to the front end loader have been misplaced or lost. I can find no literature or pictures of this loader anywhere - all we know is that it is not a PC484 No. 45 Farm Loader which was used on this type tractor. It is very similar to the 45 model but also somewhat different. The lift that I have has nearly the same bucket attachments but the obvious difference is the way the cylinders are mounted. The 45 cylinders are underneath the main boom and extend to raise the lift. On my loader, the cylinders are mounted above the main boom and retract to raise the lift. I can send pictures if needed. Please help!!!!!!!!!
