I am wondering if changing the default of the primary search parameter "DATE" from "the last 30 days" to "Any Date" might encourage more folks to try using the search function. I know it trips me up just about every time I use it, and I have to correct that to cover an ample period to when I recalled the original posting. Maybe some folks are getting no records retrieved so they move on to posting a question, when there might have been helpful information from a couple years ago that might have been of interest to them. Also, if they have no success in the search area, it's likely they will not return to search ever again.
