I have a 1947 JD A, the battery cables are hooked up for a positive ground, I'm wondering if it should be hooked up as a positive ground or if the cables could be backwards? Anybody out there that can answer this for me I'd be very appreciative!

47A should be Positive ground from the factory.
My 47 and 48 A’s are both positive ground.
