I have a GT 262
Can any one tell me why the circuit board for my ignition switch keeps going bad? I?m assuming that?s what happened. It has been replaced a few times over the past 5 or 6 years. My son had the same problem when he owned it. It has blown a fuse and I replaced that, now there is no spark. I did find a bad battery cable end and replaced it. I have check all electrical connections cleaned and fitted them back together. I have not pulled the top off the motor and looked at that. My problem started while I was mowing. It just died on me. It was all of a sudden, like I shut the key off or something. I used a jumper wire to see if the safety switch under the seat might have went out, don?t think that was it.
