I got myself a project. It is a JD324 Tiller. I know nothing about it other than I got it out of Dad's barn; I don't even know the year it was made: it has an obviously new B&S engine, and I am not at all sure about the wimpy little handles being original JD either, they just "don't match" somehow.
I want to make it look like it SHOULD look and appreciate any and ALL help you offer.
Mechanicaly it seems very sound and tight, don't leak oil from the works like many I've seen, you know what I mean.
Where do I start looking for "stuff", and does anybody else have one or a picture of one to show me what I am shooting for. Any literature available (owners/parts books) I can find I am interested in as long as they are not priced outragously of course.
I hope I am at the right forum. I will be looking around and hope to hear from yall who know A LOT more about this than I do...

Did I stump every body?
I found the parts manual online at Ma Deere; other than the engine swap the whole rest of it looks like a pretty much intact deal. What, did these not sell very good and nobody got them? Im just curious now; Do I need to restore it and take it out of the garden???
